Mohammed Foboi, 32
MSc International Relations and Counterterrorism – Liberia
Mohammed Foboi holds an MSc in International Relations from the School of Global and Public Affairs at IE University, Madrid. He has more than 13 years experience in youth peacebuilding, public policy, youth and community mobilization, leadership and communication in countries across Africa, Europe and the Americas.
Mohammed is former Regional Coordinator for West and Central Africa at UNOY Peacebuilders, the world’s largest network of youth-led peacebuilding organizations. He is the Founder and Executive Director of LIFT-Liberia, a youth-led peacebuilding organization in Liberia that runs the Center for Peacebuilding and Research in one of Liberia’s largest slums. He serves as Consultant on International Affairs, Public Policy and Projects at the Monrovia City Government and is also a member of the African Union Youth for Peace Program, one of three representatives for West Africa from 2022-2024.
Mohammed holds a BA in Mass Communication from the University of Liberia and more than twenty certificates and diplomas in leadership, conflict management, peacebuilding, public policy, education reform, project planning and management and communication among others from the world’s top institutions of learning through Coursera, EdeX and other platforms. He is an accomplished writer with four books in peacebuilding, child care, social studies and community building.
