Learn more about Lea Babite Inyabondaye

Lea is a young Congolese activist, committed to the fight for gender equality and youth empowerment. A graduate from the Higher Institute for Rural Development in Bukavu, Lea founded Young Enemies of Hunger, working towards the consolidation of peace and a future without violence for the DRC. She is committed to the socio-economic empowerment of young people, particularly young farmers and farmers in conflict-affected regions. Lea works to strengthen the peaceful participation of, and equality for young men and women in the resolution of conflict between local tribes.
