Abhishek Sharma is a Ph.D. Candidate in Korean Studies at the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi, where his research focuses on the intersection between New Emerging Technologies and the Geopolitics of East Asia. He is a Non-Resident Kelly fellow at Pacific Forum. He holds a First-Class Master’s degree in International Relations from South Asian University.
Since 2020, Abhishek has worked with organizations such as Our Generation of Inclusive Peace(OGIP), United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY), and Global Peace Hub working in the field of Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Agenda and Youth, Peace and Security(YPS) Agenda at regional and international level. His research interest lies in Environmental and Digital Peacebuilding, particularly focusing on Youth and Women's movement to further Climate justice, and Positive Peace. His writings have been featured in several publications, including the The Diplomat, Institute for Security and Development policy (ISDP), The Loop, South Korea Pro, 9Dashline, South Asian Voices, Eurasia Review, ORCA, and WION.
